20 Questions with the MOH

I figured that since over the next year, some of my blogging will be about my wedding planning, I should introduce you to some of the people that are going to help make it possible. Now, Rambo and I haven't even decided how many people (let alone who) will be standing up, but I DO know who my MOH is (that's Maid of Honor for the boys out there.)

Her name is Kim. And she is awesome.
We first met in 6th grade. At that time our elementary schools were K-6 and I went to one elementary and she went to a different one across town. The schools were about as big of rivals as possible on the elementary level. I was president of the choir at my elementary, and Kim was the president of the choir of her elementary. (Please note, our singing careers ended shortly thereafter.) One day our choirs got together-- I think it was supposed to be some king of bonding because we would be filtering into the same middle and high school, but the genius teachers kept us separated and made us do different competitive events. The biggest of which was a skooter (piece of wood on four wheels) race. Kim & I were the anchors. It was DEAD even going into the final let. I won. As I remember it there were crazy cheers... I'm just sayin.

Based on this story, I actually have no idea how we became friends. I guess we started bonding in middle school and our friendship grew throughout high school. She also happens to be half of our favorite couple. Her hubby Zac and my soon-to-be-hubs Mark are perhaps more in love with each other than should be appropriate. Zac likes to make fun of most of my clothes, as well as my blog, but if you need a good dentist in the Indy area, he'll be your guy in about two years. He will be one of those dentists who talks to you a whole bunch while your mouth is wide open and you think to yourself "Does he really want me talking right now?" (See what happens when you make fun of my blog?) But, really, I love them both!

Anyways, Kimmy was the obvious choice for MOH. And I thought you should know a little more about her, so I put together a little questionnaire, which she was kind enough to answer (she happens to love my blog... and even sends me tips!)
So without further ado, it's time for you to get to know Kimmy in 20 questions (actually 23, I couldn't narrow it down.)

1. What is your favorite color?
A: Purple, right now.

2. What's your favorite flower?
A: Gerbera daises unless I'm thinking of my wedding and then it would be calla lilies and stargazer lilies.

3. Who's your favorite author or book?
A: Hmmmm...well I really couldn't put down Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (just get through the first couple chapters and it is great!) I also really enjoyed Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich (a book I had to read for school, but very intriguing!) I hope to like Mommywood by Tori Spelling as well when I get to it.

4. What are you currently reading?
A: Well I should be reading my nursing books, but I am not reading anything at the moment. When I find a minute to breathe, then I will probably go with Mommywood because I watch Tori and Dean on t.v. and love it. I also want to read Are You There, Vodka? It's Me Chelsea by Chelsea Handler because she is so sarcastic and great on t.v. as well, so it should be fun. When I have time.

5. What's your favorite movie?
A: Sweet Home Alabama specifically and then every other romantic/comedy out there :)

6. What's the last movie you saw?
A: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen with Lauren and Mark! My cats Megatron and Miss Prime were very proud. Oh and Zac just reminded me that we just watched Balls Out at home which is one of those crazy, funny, stupid movies that never made it to theaters. One of those 4 for $20 deals.

7. What's your favorite food?
A: Italian or specifically turkey pot pie...yes this is not Italian but it ranks very high and then lasagna.

8. What's your favorite restaurant?
A: Tough one. Macaroni Grill was great like the two times I went there even though it sounds like a cafeteria. I cannot seem to think of any more at this time.

9. Where is your favorite vacation location?
A: Anywhere very HOT. I love Belize ...been there twice. I also love Arizona. There are so many places I want to see though.

10. Where is one place in the world you'd love to go?
A: I think one day I would like to go to Italy to some of the places I know my family had lived. I would want to know the language before though I think.

11. What is your favorite place to shop?
A: I am definitely liking the online shopping I've done lately, but I guess American Eagle is where I get a lot of my clothes.

12. What is your lucky number?
A: I don't think I have one at this time.

13. What is your favorite board game?
A: I like stratego, battleship, scrabble if I'm playing with fun people, and blockus.

14. What are your pet peeves?
A: I hate loud t.v. or music when I am with people or in the car. I mean a club/bar is one thing, but I can't think when the music in the car is too loud. This drives Zac crazy (that is my husband by the way).

15. Do you have any hidden talents?
Oh my haha....well I'm a great eye crosser.

16. What is your favorite holiday?
A: Halloween. I love the Fall in general even though I love the hot weather, haha I might be weird!

17. If you could be any super hero, which would you be?
A: Lauren Hyman (Tetrick)

18. If you could be any animal, which would it be?
A: Tiger-there is no explanation for that one.

19. Describe yourself in three words.
A: Sarcastic, Spazz, Caring

20. Describe me in three words.
A: Like a sister

21. What's a favorite or funny memory with me?
A: When you ripped your pants at my house when we were making graves for a haunted house haha that just popped into my head. Every moment is my fav though Lauren!

22. What's the best piece of advice you've ever gotten.
A: "Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead. Give em Hell!" Thanks Grandpa haha.

23. What's your favorite quote?
A: Let me go google for a really I think I like the one that says.... "Live every day as if it is your last."

Don't you love her already?
