Iced, Iced Coffee

I often plan my errands in such a route that I just happen to pass a Dunkin' Donuts. One of my favorite things in life is an Iced Carmel Latte Lite. Yum.
But little things like this certainly add up, so I've recently taking to creating my own Iced "Lattes" at home to get me through the day. I'm one of those weird people who likes their coffee cold and their tea hot.

Are you ready for the secret?

Coffee Ice Cubes. This way, if you lose track of your drink for an hour or so, it doesn't get all watered down. Bonus points if you add a little milk to your coffee cubes, to keep your proportions accurate.

It's simple. I just have a designated coffee cube tray in my freezer, and fill it with some of the left over coffee from my husband's morning brew.

Fill an adult sippy cup (see picture) with coffee cubes, halfway with coffee (I try not do use any that's piping hot!) halfway with milk and top off with a bit of your favorite creamer. Lately I've been in love with International Delight's Sweet Cream.
